NeighborSpace is a not for profit urban land trust that specializes in preserving and nurturing local neighborhood gardens in Chicago. NeighborSpace is partnering with the Hegewisch Business Association to work on the beautification of public spaces in the Hegewisch neighborhood. Specifically, NeighborSpace is helping to create a town square. This green space in the center of the Hegewisch business district will serve as a focus for attracting businesses as well as a pleasant public space where residents can enjoy the greenery.
